I love Christmas, but I really dislike shopping. I just want a simple, valuable present that everyone will enjoy. So, I like to take into consideration what my family and friends can most make use of and would enjoy, then incorporate that into my gift. For the chocolate lovers I’ve decided on chocolate Christmas gourmet gift baskets delivered to them this Christmas.

I love the holiday season and getting together with family and friends. For those that I am not able to visit, I send them a Thanksgiving gourmet gift basket delivered with all kinds of goodies to let them know I’m thinking about them. For the adults there is nothing like a gourmet Thanksgiving wine gift basket. And for the younger ones with a sweet tooth, I send a Thanksgiving cookie bouquet. A gift basket overflowing with pears, cheese, relish, baklava, and a variety of other snacks are perfect, too. Of course, there is the classic cornucopia as well.

Want to try your hand at making your own cornucopia? It is actually easier than you think:

1) You’ll need a wicker horn-of-plenty which you can get at your local craft store.
2) line it with straw or some shred in fall colors.
3) Fill with your favorite items. For example: for a fruit cornucopia, put the larger ones in first, then the smaller items, like mini pumpkins. Fill any gaps with some assorted nuts or chocolates.
